WHAT IS THE SOI?


“SOI” stands for Structure of Intellect-a theory of the functions and products of human intelligence. It is a system of cognitive tests and training materials to develop our innate intellectual abilities. The SOI® is based on the work of Dr. J.P. Guilford and Dr. Mary Meeker. Dr. J.P. Guilford developed the SOI assessment and Dr. Mary Meeker, Psychologist, applied Dr. Guilford’s work to education by creating intellectual learning materials that develop the low learning abilities found on the SOI assessment. The SOI assessment and learning materials are as relevant today as when they were created. They are scientifically based with over 50 years of research studies behind it. Dr. Meeker and Dr. Guilford “mapped the brain” correctly long before neuroscience. “NEURONS THAT FIRE TOGETHER, WIRE TOGETHER.”
